Callie M. Robbins
83, of Mooresville, passed away on May 16, 2020 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Mooresville. Callie was born on September 6, 1936 in Smith Grove, Kentucky to the late Earl and Martha (Smith) Simpson.
Callie worked for Federal Mogul for 32 years before retiring.
She is survived by her daughter Corinne Statzer; sons Jesse McDill, Richard McDill; 5 siblings Emma Sutton, Walter Simpson, Wayne Simpson, James Simpson, Sandra Galbreath; 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
According to her wishes, she will be cremated and laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Hall, IN.
Final arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.

The world is truly a small place! Although I did not know Callie, I do know her sister Emma Sutton and her niece and nephews who are Emma’s children. I also knew her daughter and her sons in high school. Since my mother passed away on the same day, I understand how difficult it is to adjust to the recent loss of your mother and how precious it is to celebrate the memories that have been created with family and friends.
