With a heavy heart I say so long for now my old friend, family member, and mentor. I’ve known Chick since 1978 and he taught me a hell of a lot as a young man. He treated me like I was his son, in fact I was a son-in-law. Everyone that knew Chick loved him and I do too. Prayers to Cathy, Teresa, Rhonda, Darren and all of his family members. RIP Chick
Chick was a very kind man. Always smiling and we’ll miss his voice on evenings dispatching for MPD. Prayers to the family.
Thoughts and prayers for the whole family Chick is my bff’s dad and he was such a good guy, he would give you the shirt off his back. He had the patience of a saint too, but if he was mad at you, you knew it! I was always at the house and many many dinners and he always called me kid and hugged me before I left He will always be in my heart
I loved this man, He was such a good person The one thing I remember most about Chic was the tone of his voice never changed. We would have 911 calls coming in, lifeline in the air, people in the lobby , officers on traffic stops and he was just as mellow as if nothing was going on. I would b like wow that was crazy he would say yeh, let’s see who’s winning He always had a game on. Thoughts and prayers to the family
I remember Chick from many years ago when I would walk up to the Police Dept. to see my Dad. Prayers to Cathy and the rest of the family.

Everyday, Chick would come in to dispatch, sharpen 2 number 2 pencils and a clean sheet of paper. He would then take a ruler and draw three lines down it then fold it in half. He would use that the whole shift to keep track of times for every run! Even though we had computers, he was always old school first! He loved watching basketball and he loved his job! I’m gonna miss him, but I’ll always be able to hear his “ Moooooooooresville Police Department “ in my memory! Sending love to Kathy and his kids! Chick was truly one of a kind!
Keeping you all in my heart. He was a kind, gentle man. He will be missed
