Charlotte Ann Johnson 79, of Franklin passed away April 7, 2016 in the comfort of her home. She was born March 5, 1937 in Indianapolis to the late Garth and Doris “Ima” (Kincaid) Taylor. ON January 18, 1964 she was united in marriage to her loving husband, John Johnson; he preceded her in death.

Charlotte worked as a bookkeeper for the State of Indiana for many years; she retired in 1965. She enjoyed finding bargains at Goodwill and flea markets. True to her Native American heritage, she also enjoyed Indian crafts, making dream catchers and attending pow wows on occasion.

Survivors include her children, Joe Johnson of Greenwood, Johnda Johnson of Franklin, Jamie Johnson of Indianapolis, Robin Johnson of Indianapolis and Terri Johnson of Indianapolis; brother, Sonny Taylor of Indianapolis; sister, Jeanie O'Neil of Indianapolis; 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Monday, April 11 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 12 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mooresville Cemetery.
