Guestbook

  1. Pictures of My father. Recently With me, 30 Years ago with my son, Charlie, and maybe 20- 25 years ago with my Mother, his first wife, Louise.

  2. Dear Marty & family, So saddened to hear of Clark’s passing. I know personally how hard it has been to be separated from family & loved ones who are in long term care facilities during this pandemic. We enjoyed numerous meals together with dear friends, Sandy & Sam Calhoun. Clark always acted like he was glad to see you & welcomed you always with a huge smile on his face. He had the best smile! Will be praying for you & your family as you grieve the loss of your beloved husband, father, grandfather, etc. Love always, Debbie Hines.

  3. Sent with fond memories of my Uncle Clark, a kind and generous man, who I rarely saw without a smile on his face. Love, Sarah Earlene Pendley

  4. Clark Jackson was my uncle. I have vivid memories of him growing up, especially when he, his wife Louise, and my cousins, Loren and Ellen, would visit us in Hampton, Georgia on their way from Michigan to Florida in the summers. It’s hard to remember him without a smile on his face! I also have memories of flying up to visit his family in Owosso, Michigan one snowy December. Uncle Clark picked me up from the airport during a bad snowstorm at night, which I had never experienced, being from Georgia. I was terrified during the drive home, but Uncle Clark very carefully and calmly drove me to their house safely during a heavy snowstorm with little visibility. In later and recent years, I got re-acquainted with Uncle Clark during his and Marty’s frequent trips to Georgia to visit my aging parents, his older sister Alice (Clyde) and Earl Pendley, and to attend the annual October Clark family reunion in southern Georgia near Augusta. I am thankful for the memories I now have of breakfasts at the Waffle House with Uncle Clark and Marty and of our road trips to and from the annual October family reunions. The 1st photo is October 2012 Breakfast at Waffle House in Hampton, Georgia with my parents—Uncle Clark’s sister, Alice (Clyde) and Earl Pendley, my brother Charles Pendley, and myself; 2nd photo is Oct. 2014 meal at Clark Family Reunion in south Georgia; 3rd and 4th photos are from the Oct. 2017 Clark Family Reunion; and the 5th photo is from the Oct. 2018 Clark Family Reunion-the last family reunion that Uncle Clark attended. Sarah Earlene Pendley (Clark’s niece)
