Cynthia "Cindy" (Crist) Jennings

October 23, 1962 ~ October 9, 2015
Cynthia “Cindy” (Crist) Jennings, 52 of Mooresville and formerly of Greenwood, passed away peacefully while she was sleeping during the early morning hours on Friday, October 9, 2015 at her home. She was born October 23, 1962 in Indianapolis to Richard N. and Linda L. (Wines) Crist; her parents survive.
Cindy worked in accounts receivable at Taylor Distributors of Indiana for five years. Due to her failing health she was forced to stop working in 2013. She was a member of Greenwood Christian Church.
A beautiful person inside and out, Cindy’s vibrant personality filled a room immediately when she walked in. She was a people pleaser and was always thinking of others and making sure that her two children were taken care of. Cindy enjoyed spending time with her loving immediate and extended family, always enjoying the family “pow-wow.”
Along with her parents, other survivors include her two children, Eliot R. Jennings of Greenwood and Alexa R. Jennings of Greenwood; her brother, Tim Crist of Mooresville; her sister and care giver; Sherri L. (Phillip) Tapp of Columbus; numerous extended family members and countless friends.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Monday, October 12 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood. To honor Cindy’s love for dogs, please consider making a donation to your local Humane Society in her memory. Such a loving, kind, sensitive young woman, gone way too soon. Blessed to have known this special lady. Condolences to the family and friends for your loss.

My heart goes out along with prayers to all that know and love Cindy. The Heavens truly received a beautiful angel, I know she is dancing among them.
My heart is heavy for Cindy’s family and friends today. She was always an extraordinary young lady who carried herself with beauty and grace. I was honored to be a part of the MHS Band with Cindy and I always looked up to her, in more ways than one. Yes, she was tall in statue, but also conducted herself in a manner worthy of her height. She always treated people with kindness and compassion, which made her even more beautiful on the inside. She will be sadly missed.
We are so saddened by your loss. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, the Charles Quillen family (Jennifer Quillen Shoup).
I knew that she had cancer but I didn’t hear about how she was doing. I am so sorry for her family especially her mom, Linda. I pray for strength in the following days and remember she is in a better place than her on earth with pain and suffering.
God Bless Cindy and her family! I didn’t know her very well. She was a freshman my senior year and I graduated with her brother, Tim. I am friends with her sister Sherri whom I was privileged to sit beside in band. Hugs and much love to the family.
Our heartfelt condolences are sent to Cindy’s family. We are really going to miss Cindy’s sweet spirit. Much love – Brian and Angie Gunnell
Cindy was a vibrant person who touched everyone one she met. Her welcoming smile will be missed. We send our love & heart felt sorrow to her family. Barbara Kimmel & Tracy Borah.
Always loved her bubbly look on life. Her beautiful smile and all the memories we shared together as friends, in school, the rifle Corp and all those grueling practices. But she never once said a negative thing about them. I pray peace and love for her family and my true loving condolences to everyone of you!!
Beautiful……Inside and out. Never saw you without a smile. Heaven’s newest and perfect angel!
I’m gonna miss my aunt so much. l’ll always remember the family gatherings and the numerous games we used to play when I was younger. I’ll always love you Cindy
Sherri, I remember when we ran into each other at the hospital that afternoon several weeks ago. You told me about your sister and I told you about my colleague and friend. My friend died two weeks ago. I was so sorry to see that Cindy has also passed. After we talked that day, I remembered you and your family in my prayers and will continue to do so now in your grief. Blessings, Carolyn Casey Reed
Thank you, Carolyn. I am so sorry for your loss of your friend. Cancer is an ugly thief.
Richard, Linda, Sherri, Tim and family, the Gregory family is praying that God will grant you comfort and peace during this difficult time. I will always remember Cindy’s beautiful smile and bubbly personality. Wayne and Paula Gregory
I’m so sorry to hear of Cindy’s passing. She was such a beautiful sweet soul. My thoughts and love are with you guys.
Beautiful, proper, embraced her height, awesome rifle twirler. I just remember how well she always carried herself in high school. I was several years behind her and just remember how put together she always seemed. I did not know her socially, but am saddened by the loss of someone in their prime and who I feel carried herself with a sense of elegance throughout her life. My prayers to her family.
