Dalton Stuck, 16, Mooresville, died suddenly August 13, 2015, as a result of a tragic ATV accident. Dalton was born March 3, 1999, in Indianapolis, to the late Carla (Rich) Stuck and John Stuck, Jr., who survives.

Dalton attended school in Noblesville, prior to moving to Mooresville when he was in the sixth grade. Dalton had just begun his junior year at Mooresville High School, where he enjoyed playing drums in the band. Dalton loved making people laugh and smile. A generous soul who was always interested in helping others, he never met a stranger. Dalton’s memory will live on in the hearts of a loving family and many friends.

Survivors include his parents, John Stuck, Jr. and Cathy Stuck of Mooresville; siblings, John Stuck III, Parker Jones, Hunter Stuck, and Alyssa Jones; grandparents, Mary Frances and John Stuck, Sr. of Greenwood, Linda and Bill Rich of Anderson, Janie and Bob Forster of California; a host of aunts, uncles, and loving cousins.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate Dalton’s life on Sunday, August 16, 2016, 2 to 7 p.m., in the Auditorium at Mooresville High School (enter door 2). Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or to the National Kidney Foundation.   1. I only met you a few times, you dated my best friend. You left a lasting impression in her heart and in mine, and many many others. You made everyone happy, and her. You were always good to her and I just wanted to tell you thank you Dalton. You are missed by so many and so much. I hope heaven is beautiful and you are with your mom. We will never forget you..

  3. Dalton was an inspiration to us all. I can’t name a time where I saw him without a smile on his face. He found the good in everything. And when he noticed someone else did not have a smile on their face; he made it his goal to change that. And he succeeded each and every time. Dalton Stuck has impacted my life and changed me forever and I sincerely mean that. God has blessed me with getting to know someone as amazing as him and he blessed me with one heck of a friend.

  9. Dalton was very inspiring person, and always was positive. Dalton always wanted to make people laugh. He made me left on a daily basics, my favorite memory with Dalton was, we were walking to my locker after 6th period and i couldn’t get my locker open. He just kept laugh, and i just keep saying ‘stop laughing and help me’. He finally did help me. He cared about everybody and that is what people are gonna miss about him the most. Its hard without him at schools everyday. But hes with his mom and We will see him again someday. Love you and miss you like crazy. RIp

  17. I realy respected him he often made me wonder why i do what i do, but he was very well respected love, peace, joy, strength, and enthusiasm is what i saw in Dalton, he was one of those guys that are like let me help you reach your potential, let me be your friend.

  18. Dalton is a friend of my daughter Tyler Endicott. I will never forget the first time I met him. He walked up to me and gave me the biggest hug and said ‘Hi Mom’. He was such a sweet and fun loving kid. I know how it feels to lose a child so suddenly, my thoughts and prayers are with the family.
