Daniel P. Young, 54 of Mooresville, passed away unexpectedly on the afternoon of December 8, 2015 at his home. Danny was born October 28, 1961 in Mooresville to the late Joseph E. “Gene” and Polly Joyce (Sweet) Young.
An entrepreneur, Danny started American Pest Management in Mooresville in 2005. He enjoyed anything outdoors including hunting and fishing and was a member of the Mooresville Eagles. Danny will be missed by his loving family and many friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Steven Young.
Survivors include his two children, Daniel J. Young and Katie O. Young both of Bloomington; his brother, David E. (Brenda) Young of Columbus; two nephews, Justin Young of Columbus and Tony Young of Elkhart; five great nieces and nephews and his loving companion, Tina Enstrom of Mooresville.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Saturday, December 12 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. Rev. Terry Crist will conduct the funeral service on Sunday, December 13 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at White Lick Cemetery. David, I’m so sorry to here of your loss of Danny, as well as your mom and dad. Tami called and told me last night. It’s incredible to think, how quickly time passes, and how we lose track of close friends. My last memory of Danny was of us all playing football in our front yard. David, so sorry for your loss… I spoke to someone this past Monday and found out that Danny lived off 144 and was going to stop by soon in hopes of catching him home….
