Daniel Wane Fisher

Daniel Wane Fisher, Sr., 70, Martinsville, passed away on December 27, 2025.  Mr. Fisher was born on November 9, 1955, in Indianapolis, to the late Robert Gene and Velma J. (Edwards) Fisher.

Danny graduated from Zionsville High School and worked as an electrician for many years before retiring.  He worked at J.W. Jones in Martinsville and Edwards Electrical and Mechanical.  He enjoyed motorcycles, gardening, playing pool, and cheering for the San Francisco 49ers.  Above all, Danny was a family man who cherished time spent with his loved ones.  He was especially proud of his grandchildren and took great pleasure in spending time with them.  He will be fondly remembered for his humble and loving nature.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Fisher.

Survivors include three children, Daniel Wane (Raquel) Fisher II “Buddy”, Amanda (Tommy) Saxon, and Cody Fisher “Bub”; brother, Richard (Deb) Fisher; grandchildren, Baker Saxon, Madi Greenfield, and Megan Greenfield.

Friends and family will gather to remember, honor, and celebrate the life of Dan Fisher on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, 10 a.m. to 12 Noon, at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, Mooresville.  The funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m.  Pastor Brandon Sichting will officiate, and burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown.  Visit www.CarlisleBranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
