David Keith Westenhofer
68, of Avon passed away on December 8, 2025 at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis. David was born on February 28, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Paul R. and Mary L. (Fowlkes) Westenhofer.
David worked in shipping and receiving for over 40 years at Nice-Pak in Mooresville. He enjoyed the simple things in life, like spending time with his family, watching old sitcom reruns like the Andy Griffith Show, collecting model cars and trucks, and sipping on his favorite drink, Diet Coke. He will be remembered for his generous, thoughtful, kind heart that never knew a stranger, who loved his family deeply.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings John Westenhofer, Jerry Westenhofer, Myron Westenhofer, Marcia Rogers, half-brother David Jester, and a half sister Fern Clark.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Ransom) Westenhofer; daughter Kimberly Lewis (David); son Patrick Westenhofer; sisters Myra Carter, Paulette Presley; four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Tyrion, Daniel, and Samuel.
Family and friends will gather in celebration of David’s life on Sunday, Dec. 14th from 12pm-2pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with funeral services beginning at 2:00pm Sunday in the funeral home. In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated following the services.
