  1. Rip Papaw J. I already miss the deep conversations we’d have about politics, cars, art, music, and how to live, laugh, and love. To some you may have been an old grouch but those of us closest to you, we knew the truth about how you were really a down to earth person and the best damn grandfather a brat like me could ask for. Didn’t matter if i was running rc cars into the christmas tree or wrecking the actual truck you gave me. You never got mad and always found a way to make me laugh and see things differently. You taught me a lot about self respect. Always telling me how ‘being short’ doesnt matter. I took a lot from that and I love myself more because of how you made me see things. I know you know how much I love you and I’m so happy I got to see you Saturday. Kiss Mamaw for me. I’m happy you guys are finally reunited. God bless you and god bless those who have a grandpa half as good as mine. Because he simply the best. Rip Papaw. I love you

  2. As the definition of brother, Donnie was the perfect example! He always had a smile, and a cheerful word, as well as a hand up. He was there and made time to talk, to help, or just to verbalize thoughts and feelings. I was always proud to have Donnie as my brother! And yet I realize that now he will not hurt , nor suffer from the earthly trials of life, plus he is now with the love of his life, Linda! May God bless and keep you both in His arms!! Brother John

  3. Donnie I am sure going to miss our conversations! Your were a great older brother! I enjoyed when we’d send UTube videos of old songs, some from 50’s and all the way through the 70’s and 80’s! I truly admired you and your attitude through life! Tell Linda, Ma, Daddy, Grandma and of course, Kathy Ann HI! Love you! Your big sister, Deb
