Donald Petty and Family
He was an outstanding father, awesome friend as well as next door neighbor, big brother, like a 2nd-father at times and a disabled war vet whom we all loved and respected. You will surely be missed Donald and more importantly the wonderful memories that you left behind. ~ Loved & Missed, Tammy (Brown) Lyons
The main thing I remember about Don was he always had such a good attitude. He kept on the positive side. He told me once that after having been in Vietnam, “Any day I wake up and nobody is shooting at me is a good day!”
I’m very sorry for your loss. The Bible can’t offer much comfort at this difficult time. John 5:28, 29 says, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the Memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life. ” For more information please go to http://www.JW.org.
