  1. Please accept my condolences and count on my prayers. I was blessed with Don’s friendship. John Madden, Past president Crystal Flash Petroleum.

  2. Don was always very kind. The few times I had the chance to talk with him, he shared his poetry and about his life, meeting Judy and talking highly of hid children and grandchildren. We will miss your hello waves. May you Rest In Peace. The neighborhood will truly miss you. Don and Marion Mckinney

  3. When I was a kid, Donald was a friend of my mom and dad. But as I became an adult, Donald became my friend also. I loved his visits to my taxidermy shop. He always had a good story or poem to share and lots of times he’d say “c’mere, I want to show you something”. Then he’d take me to the back of his truck and show me his latest woodworking project, which was always spot on and beautiful. Donald gave me the ultimate compliment when he said “You look like your dad but act like your mom”.ߒ– I once mounted a lifesize coyote for him which I’m pretty sure he used on Halloween to sit by the door. ߘ I also did a deer head for him and he made the plaque for it. He told me while he was waiting for my part of the job to be done, the empty plaque was hanging on the wall waiting patiently. ߘ‰ One of my most treasured possessions is the poem he wrote for me, about me. It was entitled “Determined”. That poem will always be an inspiration to me. Donald, you were one of my favorite people. Till we meet again friend.ߘŒ
