  6. One day, about a year ago, Donnie called and said ‘I have an Indian at my house.’ I said I know, Chris looks like she’s Native American. Donnie said ‘no, I have an Indian Chief at my house.’ (I’m sure I’m not the only one he played these phone games with.) It finally soaked in. He was talking about my mothers Indian figure she used for a door stop. And he continued …’I have an Indian at my house, and you’ll never see him again, unless I get bisquits and gravy!’ 🙂 Donnie, I guess I have to be content with the thought that some people are too unique to stick around long. And you were never one to let grass grow under your feet either. Thank you for being my friend, my Brother-in-Law, and for my 2 best little buddies. No one can fill your boots, but I’m sure you’ve always known I’ll do all I can to help Chris look after them for you. Love ya buddy. (…. Yes, I made him bisquits and gravy.)

  16. I have know Donny since we were very young. I am so sorry for your loss. God Bless your family. I Am Always With You When I am gone, release me, let me go. I have so many things to see and do, You mustn’t tie yourself to me with too many tears, But be thankful we had so many good years. I gave you my love, and you can only guess How much you’ve given me in happiness. I thank you for the love that you have shown, But now it is time I traveled on alone. So grieve for me a while, if grieve you must Then let your grief be comforted by trust That it is only for a while that we must part, So treasure the memories within your heart. I won’t be far away for life goes on. And if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can’t see or touch me, I will be near And if you listen with your heart, you’ll hear All my love around you soft and clear And then, when you come this way alone, I’ll greet you with a smile and a ‘Welcome Home’.
