Dorcas C. Beasley

Dorcas C. Beasley, 95, of Mooresville, passed away January 16, 2020. Dorcas was born March 29, 1924, in Morgan County, to the late William Kenworthy and Pearl (Ballinger) Kenworthy Quinn.
Dorcas enjoyed gardening, cooking, bowling, sewing, crocheting, and fishing. She had a strong Christian faith. Dorcas strong nature is going to be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merritt Beasley; brothers, Roy, Harold, and Joe; sisters, Rosamond Clark and Francis Conner.
Survivors include her son, Steve (Terry) Beasley of Mooresville; daughter, Judy (Paul) Frederick of Carmel; sister, Rachel Stone of Mooresville; and grandchildren, Kirstie, Colby, Kristy, Raegan, and Steven II; 7 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandson.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow to West Newton Cemetery. Visit www.CarlisleBranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
