Doris A. Eskridge

Doris A. Eskridge, 58, Martinsville, died June 3, 2011, in the Emergency Room at St. Francis Hospital, Mooresville. Doris was born in Indianapolis on December 2, 1952.

Doris was a 1972 graduate of Martinsville High School. She worked as a nurse's aid at Miller's Merry Manor in Mooresville most recently and previously for Grandview Health Care in Martinsville. Doris attended the Brooklyn Christian Church and enjoyed caring for her dogs and cats.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dewey Allen Davis.

Survivors include her husband, James William Eskridge; daughter, Rosella Jean Lester of Martinsville; mother, Rosella Davis of Mooresville; sisters, Linda Byrnes of Greenwood and Shirley Brown of Tennessee; six grandchildren.

The memorial service will begin at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2011, in the Brooklyn Christian Church, 7 South Church Street, Brooklyn, Indiana.
