Earl Lundy Sr.

Earl Lundy Sr., 79, of Mooresville died Monday, March 31, 2014 at Franciscan St. Francis Health Indianapolis. He was born on October 6, 1934 in Pennington Gap, Virginia to the late Carl and Annis Lundy.
Earl is preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Lundy; his four brothers, Danny, Robert, James and Roy.
He provided for his family by working as a foreman for Automotive Armature in Mooresville for over 30 years and then worked for Franklin Power Products until his retirement in 1997. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting. He most enjoyed spending time with his family, he was a loving man and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnne Lundy; his 8 children, Earl Lundy Jr. ( Kathryn) of Mooresville, Debbie Sparks of Monrovia, Cathy Foley of Mooresville, Cindy Lundy of Franklin, Donna Miller ( Gerald) of Franklin, Jon Ayres ( Krystal) of Lilburn, GA, Annette Lange ( Scott) of Alachua, FL and Janelle Wilkins ( Jason) of Zanesville, Ohio; his four brothers, Cecil Lundy ( Rita), Ervin Lundy (Linda),Everett Lundy ( Pat), Odell Lundy ( Neva); his two sisters, Wanda Lloyd ( Wendall) and Anna Mae Charles ( Donny). He is survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville with entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood. Visitation will be held from 4PM until 8PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

I will miss you so much! Will not have someone to play cards against as Dad says when we were down at Mom and Dads taking turns to see which one would win! You always said I will show you! Never forget the blizzard when you showed up and came to the house and took Dad to get food for all of us and you brought back gum and oranges for us.
