Earl Thomas McCammack
August 2, 1934 ~ November 16, 2017
Earl Thomas McCammack, 83, of Indianapolis, passed away November 16, 2017 in Countryside Meadows in Avon. Earl was born on July 2, 1934 in Belle Union, Indiana to the late Gilbert E. and Mildred G. (Hochstetler) McCammack.
Earl proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and National Guard, retiring after 22 years of service. Following service, he worked for Alamo Rental for 15 years in Florida. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling and was an avid LA Clippers and Dodgers fan! He was a member of the American Legion and Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth McCammack and a brother Emil McCammack.
He is survived by his sons; Mitch McCammack of Clermont, Jeff McCammack of Mooresville, stepson; Mike Naylor of Kentucky, brother; Eldon McCammack of New Castle, grandchildren; Danielle Corrin, Matthew McCammack, Sean McCammack, Caitlin McCammack and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday November 19th from 10am-1pm, with the service at 1:00pm in Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
