Eddie L. Williams, 88, Mooresville, passed away January 10, 2107, in Meadow Lakes. Mrs. Williams was born November 25, 1928, in Celina, Tennessee, to the late Henry Clay and Ruby (Nivens) Dailey.

She worked for a number of years for Balfour Jewelry and later at Herff Jones for many years. Mrs. Williams attended Cave Springs (TN) Church of Christ and the Mooresville Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking, caring for foster children, and was a great shopper. Eddie was a loving and caring spirit who will be fondly remembered by her loved ones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul James Williams; daughter, Delores Stanton; brother, Wade Dailey.

Survivors include her son, Timothy Williams of Indianapolis; daughter, DeAnna Goss of Cornelia, Georgia; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will gather on Sunday, January 15, 2017, 1 to 3 p.m., in the chapel at

  2. She was a great woman she was my foster mother up on goat hollow road. She took care of me the best way she knew how and I am great full for that today. Thanks eddie for giving me a home when no one else wanted me. You will truly be missed….. enclosed is a picture of me at a young foster kid and now that I’m grown.
