Evelyn Heringer

Evelyn Heringer, 74, Mooresville, passed away peacefully May 8, 2017, in Washington Health Care Center. Mrs. Heringer was born March 4, 1943, in Jackson, Kentucky, to the late Robert Lee and Malvry (Gross) Haddix.
She worked in various nursing homes through the years and also cleaned at the Beech Grove Elementary School before retiring. Always one to put others first, Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, and sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jacob Heringer, Sr.; and brothers, Cecil, Elmer, Delmer, and BJ Haddix.
Survivors include one son, Jacob Heringer, Jr. (Coetta) of Mooresville; sisters, Ada Holland of Austin and Sue Gross of Mooresville; grandchild, Tessa Kindred; great grandchild, Iris Michelle Kindred.
Friends and family will gather on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, 4 to 8 p.m., in the chapel at
Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 11, 2017, at the funeral home.
