Frank N. Hunt

62, of Plainfield, passed away on March 4, 2019 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Frank was born on August 29, 1956 in Bedford, IN to the late Geraldine Hunt and Bernice E. (Belcher) Hunt.

Frank was a hardworking family man who loved the outdoors and spending time fishing, camping, gardening, cooking out over an open fire and drinking a cold beer with family and friends. He had a little bit of a gambler in him as he enjoyed playing poker and was an avid lottery scratch off ticket player, often times winning.

He also worked in construction most of his life. Although not formally trained, he was a quick learner due to his artistic ability and vision to see what a project would look like before starting. He was most proud of owning Hunt and Sons Construction and sharing his passion for building and remodeling with his sons.

Left to cherish his memory are sons Jesse Hunt (Sarah), Frank Hunt (Audrey Frost), John King II, David Saladino, Jeremy Reeves; a daughter Tiffany Hunt; brothers Jesse Hunt, Dean Hunt, Bob Heflin, Edward Tilford, William Tilford; sisters Myra Miller, Marlene Morehouse, Pam Hunt; nine grandchildren, Amaya, Savannah, Jackson, Jazmine, Aden, Trevor, Wesley, Angelina and Charles.

A Celebration of Frank’s Life will be held Saturday March 9th at 4pm at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with visitation one hour prior to the memorial service, Saturday at the funeral home.

A special thanks to the Franciscan Hospice staff for their loving and compassionate care of Frank in his final days. While flowers are welcomed, memorial contributions may be made in Frank’s memory to Franciscan Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
