George Harold Ramsey, 50, of Shelbyville, passed unexpectedly on Friday, July 4th, 2025 on his 50th birthday. He was born in Middletown, Connecticut in 1975 to the late Randall Lee Ramsey Sr. and Melody Ann (Slater) Snider-Burks.
He graduated from Martinsville High School with the class of 1993. He worked for Hilex Poly in North Vernon as a Shift Manager. Some may remember him from Community Chrysler in Martinsville where he used to work as a car detailer.

He was an avid Pokémon Go player, a professional dad joke teller, enjoyed making model cars, was an Indianapolis Colts fan, and horror movie enthusiast. Although, his favorite movie of all time was the Indiana classic, Christmas Story. He was greatly looking forward to being the grandfather to his first grandchild, Jackson Nishida, who is soon to arrive.
