Heather Marie Cooney
40, of Camby, passed away on July 4, 2025. Heather was born on January 14, 1985, in Beech Grove, Indiana to Gary and Teresa (Rippy) Cooney.

Heather enjoyed spending time with family and friends, whether it was camping at Racoon Lake, canoeing in the river, whitewater rafting, seeking the thrills of the rides and roller coasters at Kings Island, taking road trips or just playing cards and board games. She also enjoyed singing in the choir at the Mooresville Free Methodist Church, as well as watching old classic movies, Disney movies, and collecting antiques. She will be remembered for her talent for working with numbers and her great sense of humor, often pulling pranks on family and friends.

She is survived by her father and mother, Gary and Teresa Cooney; her son Dillon D’Angelo; sister Ashlee Cooney; brother Brandon Cooney, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins who will all miss her dearly.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Heather’s life on Wednesday, July 9th from 5-8pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Services will be held on Thursday, July 10th at 10am in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery.
