Howard L. “Buddy” Record, 65, of Martinsville, passed away suddenly April 30, 2018. Buddy was born November 1, 1952, in Martinsville, to the late Robert M., who preceded him in death, and Elizabeth “Liz” (Hillman) Record, who survives.
Buddy was a self-employed carpenter for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and football. Buddy was a kind hearted Christian man that will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer LeAnne Bailey; and brothers, Robert “Bobbie” Record, Alan “Oopie” Record, and Donald “Moe” Record.
Survivors include his sibling, Darlene (Ron) Long and Bill (Nicole) Record.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate and honor the life of Buddy Record on Friday, May 4, 2018, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory; service will follow at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Nebo Memorial Park.
