Iner William “Bill” Ritchie

Iner William “Bill” Ritchie, 78, of Mooresville, passed away on November 8, 2025, at Franciscan Health Mooresville. He was born in Fontana, California, on June 16, 1947, to the late Iner William and Marian Emily (Hester) Ritchie. Bill graduated from Redlands High School in California. He worked in construction for most of his life, and most recently was employed with Lowe’s in Mooresville.

In 1992, Bill married the love of his life, Becky Ritchie, and together they shared 33 years of marriage before her passing in June.

Bill’s genuine heart and love for his family were evident. It did not matter what they were doing, as long as they were together. He will be deeply missed by his family.

Survivors include his sons, Tony Newcomb, Gary Newcomb (Seana), and Patrick Bristoe; and grandchildren, Duke Newcomb, Dylan Bristoe, and Dominic Bristoe.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Ritchie; son, David Bristoe; and sister, Janie.

Final arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville.
