Jack Eugene Wrightsman

Jack Eugene Wrightsman, 85, a lifelong resident of Mooresville, passed away April 11, 2018. Born February 24, 1933, Jack was the son of the late Conard and Ethel (Cordray) Wrightsman. On June 3, 1964 he was united in marriage to Betty M. (Ritzline) Wrightsman and she survives.

Jack was a 1951 graduate of Mooresville High School. He began working at Carl’s Service Station and subsequently started working for Crystal Flash as an independent fuel distributor; he retired in 1998 after over 55 years. Jack was a jokester and loved to make people laugh. He was an avid bowler, having bowled a perfect game of 300.

His sister, Betty Jane Wrightsman also preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Betty; his children, Jack Edward (Trudy) Wrightsman of Mooresville, David L. (Susan) Wrightsman of Scottsville, Kentucky, Peggy L. Wrightsman of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Michelle L. (Roy) Wagner of New Palestine; his brother, Conard R. “Buck” (Connie) Wrightsman of Naples, Florida; his sister, Wilma L. Wrightsman of Mooresville; grandchildren, Terry (LaNora) Palmer, Cathy (Timmy)Taylor, Dotty (Joni) Moore, Dawn (Brendan) Broadstreet, Jennifer (Marco) Lopez, Tyler and Tyra Partlow; great grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, McKynse, Austyn, Aaliyah, Jacklynn, Anthony, and Adelina; a great great grandson, Deven; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Jack Wrightsman from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, 2018 in the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, 39 E. High Street, Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 16 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at White Lick Cemetery.   4. I want to send my condolences to the Wrightsman family especially to Peggy, David & Jack, of who I have many good memories of my childhood hangin around with you during part of my childhood between our homes on Main and Washington St in Mooresville.

    I now live in Bluffton, SC, and won’t be able to attend the funeral. But please know you are in my prayers. I do remember your dad well and he was a good guy. Remember all the good times with him. He will always be with you in your heart.

  5. Mac McCloud sorry to hear that Jack has passed he was a great Man I worked with him at Crystal Flash some and new him for years. He will really be missed. Our prayers are with the family.
