James D. “J.D.” Williams, 63, St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Pioneer, Ohio, died July 12, 2015. Mr. Williams was born August 14, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late James O. Williams and Margaret Louise (Frost) Williams.

Prior to health issues that limited his ability to work, J.D. was employed at Ryder Trucking. He enjoyed drawing, singing Karaoke, and playing shuffleboard. He also enjoyed the outdoors and liked to hunt and fish. He will be missed by a loving and devoted family.

Survivors include his siblings, Julietta “J.J.” Hunt (Roger) of Spring Hill, Florida, Carolyn Johnson (Darrel) of Anderson, Melia Gulde (Robert) of Rushville, Jurel Lucas (Phillip) of Anderson, Anthony (Toney Joe Williams) Egley (Diane) of Fort Wayne, Angel Johnting (Mike) of Peru; spouse, Harriett “Dee” Williams; son, James Williams, Jr.; grandchildren, Sydney and Julie.

Friends and family will gather Thursday, July 16, 2016, 1 to 3 p.m. in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.   4. JD tomorrow will start without you here and many eyes will be filled with tears. But I know you wouldn’t want your family to cry while thinking of ways to say goodbye. Because you knew how much they loved you, and how much you loved them. And you knew each time they think of you they will miss you too.
