Janice Maryanne Jordan

Janice Maryanne Jordan, 75, of Indianapolis, passed peacefully at IU West Hospital on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 with family at her side.  She was born in Indianapolis to the late Al and Irene Jordan on December 4, 1949.

She graduated from St. Mary Academy High School with the class of 1967. After graduating high school, she attended Marian College to study social work. She then advanced her education and ultimately earned her master’s degree in social work at IUPUI. She enjoyed a long career in the mental health field helping children and adults. In retirement, she remained active and worked as a florist and later as a pharmacy tech.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed watching wildlife while relaxing on her patio as well as spending time with her family.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by many including her life companion, Michael Warner of Indianapolis; daughter, Amy (husband, Tommie) Marcum of Avon; son, Zach (wife, Monica) Lee of Westfield; grandson, Brandon (partner, Rain); granddaughter, Taylor Anne (partner Derek), granddaughter, Taylor Nicole and great-grandchildren, Tiff, Hunter, Rose, Kai, Lake, Barrie and Sailor.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Hal and Irene Jordan.

Her earthly remains have been cremated.  Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory.
