Jason M. Taylor, 39, of Mooresville, passed away suddenly October 11, 2020. Jason was born November 3, 1980, Beech Grove, Indiana, to Norman and Connie (Stapleton) Taylor.
Jason received general studies associate’s degree from IUPUI. He worked at Guitar Center in customer service for the last couple years. Jason had a passion for music especially rock music. He played in several bands through the years. He even enjoyed writing music. He also liked animals and Star Wars. Jason had a big heart and was always there to help anyone. He also had a great sense of humor, and is going to be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
Survivors include his parents, Norman and Connie; a brother, Jeff Taylor; maternal grandmother, Mary Stapleton; and paternal grandfather, Harold (Jane) Taylor.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate Jason’s Life on Friday, October 16, 2020, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Service will begin at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. While flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be made to The Four Legged Ranch: 6761 N. Gray Rd, Mooresville, Indiana 46158.
I’ve known you my whole life and you will be greatly missed. Thank you for always looking out for Bentley & I. Bentley looked up to you and always enjoyed spending time with you. I know he will miss you tons, but know you will always be in our prayers. Till we all meet again. Rest in peace neighbor

I’m so sorry to hear of Jason’s passing. I was in band with him all throughout school, and he was just a kind guy with a great sense of humor. My condolences to his family.

I met Jason in elementary school and we were friends throughout school. He was always so kind. He loved talking about music, playing music, and was always so funny. The world has lost a great guy. I’m so sorry for your loss.
I met and had fun with Jason in High school over 20 years ago and I enjoyed hanging out at a music store in Mooresville, In and did played music a little bit and I will miss you, Jason. Fly high Jason
