Jerald Allen Cox, age 65, of Mooresville, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014. Born January 21, 1949, in Washington, IN, he was the son of the late Alva and Myrtle (Bussinger) Cox. His sister, Wendy Cox also preceded him in death.
Jerald retired from Local 440 where he was a pipefitter for over 20 years.
Survivors include his children, Michelle Yunker, Jeremiah Cox, Jai Cox, Jonah Cox, and Jeri Kemp; his two brothers, Bobby Cox and Samuel Cox; and his 12 grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with services at 7:00 p.m. A private burial will take place on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with funeral expenses.

Jerry was one of the best friends a person could ever wish to have. He was a party waiting to happen. I was pleased to call him a real friend for more than 40 years. Deepest sympathys to Bobby, Sam, Michelle and the rest of his family. He will always be a part of my life.

What a wonderful man! Jerry always had something nice to say, was very friendly and outgoing. He always had something interesting to talk about. What a great guy! Jerry, needless to say, you will be missed until we meet again. My family, you will be in my prayers.
My deepest condolences to Bobby, Sammy and the rest of the family. Jerry could always make me laugh, lots of good memories including the owl in the attic. Always hoped our paths would cross again on this earth, guess I’ll see you in the great beyond. RIP, my Friend.

so sorry to hear about jerry. he was loved by all. his kids and my kids grew up together. great children. love them all. jerry was a really good guy. he will be missed.
there is nothing anyone can say to take away the pain of this loss.we have lost our greatest friend ever! my heart is with his family for i love them very much.please remember him with laughter and a beer!he is with morris and donny lee. i wish i could be there tonight . i miss you all!
