Jessie Yarbrough, 82, Mooresville, passed away peacefully at home November 5, 2021. Mr. Yarbrough was born December 30, 1938, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, to the late Willis and Ava (Cummings) Yarbrough.

Jessie enjoyed a long career as a truck driver, working for Yellow Freight, PIE and ABF through the years, retiring in 1998. He was a longtime and loyal member of Five Points Baptist Church. His patriotism was second to none – he was a proud American and also very fond of his red truck. Jessie’s memory will be forever cherished by a loving family and many friends.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Esther (Smith) Yarbrough; children, Barbie Clark, Buddy Yarbrough, Rick Hartloff, Diane Perry, Deborah Camplin, and Belinda Young; brothers, Farris and Doug Yarbrough; grandchildren, Jimmy, Cindy, Justin, Meredith Brooke, Adam, Amy, Kayla, Colby, Dakota, Mary Jean, Haylee, Corey, Kyle, Coby, Bobby, Nikki, and Michael.

Jessie was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Stewart; siblings, Judy Hunter, Violet Ward, Willis Yarbrough, Lewis Yarbrough, and WA Cummins.

Visitation will be Monday, November 8, 2021, 4 to 8 p.m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., Tuesday, at Five Points Baptist Church, 5596 E. State Road 144, Mooresville. Entombment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.   1. Over the summer my husband and i cooked catfish for papaw he told us he was so full and he continued eating more.
