He was a very nice and pleasant man to have known.. Thank you for your service. I know you will be greatly missed.
John, what can be said. You were a great brother in law and I have missed you over the years. Loyal beyond words and trusted. Even though you destroyed my lawn mower. My heart will always remember the good times. Rest well.
John was a wonderful young man he loved his family and was always there for them or anyone who needed him. You will forever live in our hearts.
I met John when he arrived at Davis-Monthan AFB, he helped me build my 1st & 2nd dirt track race cars and was my first crew chief. He would do anything for a friend? He loved working on those cars more than I did. He was so hooked he started building race cars when he got stationed at Tinker. At one time about half the factory stocks running at the State Fair Speedway where built by him. He was an awesome welder before he even cross trained into that career field. I lost track of him when he left Tinker and had no idea he had health problems, RIP and God Speed John !!
John was an adventurous man. I was stationed with him at Tinker Air Force Base. He was always working on better ways to manufacture stock car frames in his garage after work. He loved racing, and he loved being in Metals Technology. He was the first person to tell me that I made TSgt. I hate to see him called at such a young age. God Bless You John, Rest In Peace! John was amazing guy. Definitely knew his way around a toolbox. I worked in the shop next door and when I needed anything I knew I could go to John. The world lost a good man. Prayers out to John’s Family. I know he’ll be missed.
Great guy! Sometimes a challenge to work with but I respected him and he respected me. Had good times and laughs with him. He helped me get step promoted. Sad to see this and prayers to his family.
He tried for several years to find you & even harder the last few months.
Stacey and Family, I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. May God give you comfort now and always. Leigh Ann Harvey & Family
I asked him about you a few months ago, but he said he lost touch and had tried to find you. I wish he had been able to get in contact with you.
Holly Lewis is following this tribute.
I love you more baby.
My condolences to all of you. My name is Michael, and John helped with my retirement and he made my shadow box. He let me borrow his Retirement flag for my shadow box, until my flag came back from Iraq. I will miss this man dearly. My best wishes to all of you! Mike Gibson MSgt USAF

I worked with John here at Malmstrom AF Base in the 819th RH Squadron for five years and we did three Deployments together. I used to love taking care of his dogs when he would go out of town. He was a great guy, hard worker, and a great friend. You will be missed dearly! Shane Anderson

Hard to believe He is gone. Hugs, love and prayers to his family and friends. I will miss him dearly. RIP my friend.
I grew up with John and graduated with him from Ben Davis High School in 1988. He was such a nice guy or was always so helpful. I lost touch with him after moving away from high school and looking at what he did in the Air Force and serving his country the way John did; makes me proud to have known him. Prayers for his family and friends and for his wife and children. May you rest in peace John!!!! Pauline McMurray–(Flint)–Childhood friend
I thought I had a # for his brother in law in an old address book but I could never find it. I wish I would have tried other avenues, it’s killing me that I didn’t get to talk to him before he passed.
Love you my son
From my entire command Wright Patterson Air Force Base, I continue to receive emails, texts, calls, letters, and more from people praising you for your years of service and heir deepest condolences. I can only ope and pray I can one day live up to half of the accomplishments OU achieved, even if it is within the Navy. RIP MSgt
You were everywhere today! I stumbled upon an old wolf item I have. A dragonfly and monarch butterfly came to visit me…the dragonfly-beautiful blue in color stopped on a stone just next to me! Listened to iHeart Radio app, OKC 96.1… Heard many old country songs, even The King of Country I Cross My Heart. My heart is heavy…
Happy Birthday.
Happy Heavenly Birthday!
