Kelly James Carter, 50, Moon Township, PA, passed away December 13, 2016. Kelly was born November 2, 1966, in San Diego, California to James D. Carter and Jane E. Woodall.

Kelly worked as a self-employed contractor for many years.

Survived by his wife, Jessica Cooper-Carter and step-son Ethan Cooper of Moon Township, PA; father, James Carter of Winston-Salem, NC; mother, Jane Woodall of San Diego/Santee, CA; step-mother, Bonnie Carter of Winston-Salem, NC; brothers, Patrick James Carter of Dallas, TX and Chance James Carter of San Diego, CA.

A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2017, in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
