Kiersten was bright, caring, and creative!
Jill. My granddaughter, Kaylie White, was good friends with Kiersten all through grade school. We remember the fun New Year’s Eve birthday parties at your house and sharing rides to volleyball camp. I know Kaylie has many other special memories that she will cherish as well. We are so very sorry for this devastating loss to your family. We will be keeping your sweet family in our prayers in the months to come. I hope you can feel the love of our Heavenly Father as He carries you through this hardest time of your lives. Cindy & Dean Arnot and Kaylie White
One of my favorite kiersten memories is when we hid all the ketchup packets we made Andy get us at McDonald’s all around the house. Another one is when we mustered up enough courage in Florida to walk by ourself to bubba gumps and order our food, which was only mashed potatoes might I add, and we were so proud of our selves.
May God bless you and your family, and help comfort your heavy hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family ♥️

Kiersten would always brighten the day up. She was so kind and thoughtful, and always made people laugh. She was quirky and always got excited when her favorite songs would come on at work. She was more than just a co-worker; she was my friend. I remember on Black Friday when she brought a blanket and pillow in to lay down and chill with us in the break area. She was one of my favorite people to work with, and work will never be as bright without her. I know you’re in a better place, and will be watching over us. I miss you so much, and wish I could’ve told you how great you were directly, but I suppose this will do. Rest In Peace, Kiersten. Austin
Kiersten and I started working at Journeys roughly around the same time. She started just after I did and this led to us having a great friendship as we were both the new kids. She taught me a lot about life and always knew what to say when I needed to hear it. She was always going around making sure everyone was okay. She was the most unselfish person I have ever met. I will miss her dearly and especially her bringing in almonds every shift to snack on. She was my coworker but also my friend, I will miss her so much❤️
my HEART goes out to the family god bless ..
Jill and Andy—sending so much love to you and your family. Wrapping you both in so much love and hope you can find peace through the pain. We are so, so sorry. Love you both ❤️ Michelle and Jeff Allen
From your cousin. Andy my heart aches for you, Jill, Lanie, Allison, John, Uncle Bill, Ellen, and for Emily and her family. Although there are no words that can comfort any of you at this time, I know love leaves a memory that will not fade away and you will meet on the banks of the river and listen to sweet songs again. Love to all from Rachel Woodward
we both loved music. we met as dance partners in show choir camp. she provided endless support for me while i pursued my passions for music, attending every one of my musicals she could, and listening to my poorly written songs. we attended the billie eilish concert together. we pretended to be sopranos and sang the highest notes in phantom of the opera every time i rode with her in the car. we obsessed over hamilton and dear evan hansen. we even performed “alexander hamilton” and “sincerely, me” at an open mic (neither one of them ended well) she loved one direction & 5 seconds of summer. she had too many turtlenecks & pairs of vans compared to the average person. but she wasn’t just average. she was my best friend & her memory will live on forever through me

My name is Greg Jones and I am the student pastor at Southland Community Church in Greenwood. Even though I never knew Kiersten, I know that she must have been a special teenager. A couple of our students and some of our day care workers at out church’s “Learning Zone” attend Mooresville High School and are friends with Kiersten. We are in continual prayer for the family and friends and offer our deepest condolences.
Kiersten and I were friends in early elementary school, but ended up growing apart later. Even though we weren’t close anymore, she would always talk to me like we were still good friends. I remember going over to her house when we were probably 2nd and 3rd graders and playing LEGO Indiana Jones. She tried to teach me, but I was still terrible at video games. She laughed at me for being so bad, but it was still fun. We would also go over and swim with a bunch of other kids our age. I’m thankful for those simple, but loving memories.
When Kiersten and I were in elementary, I stayed at her house one day and at the time making an infinity sign with our arms was the thing, so we spent 20 minutes tring to make the sign and then another length of time taking the picture. Forever one of my favorite memories and forever one of my favorite friends.
