17, of Mooresville, passed away on March 29, 2023. Landon was born on August 20, 2005 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Heather (Wright) Hendon and Justin Ault.
Landon was a student and star forward for the state runner up Mooresville Christian Academy basketball team. Landon was fearless, hardworking young man who never knew a stranger that had a smile that would light up a room. He was a dreamer, who loved his family, spending time with them and all things outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, guns and going to gun shows, searching for the next great deal, riding 4 wheelers, tinkering with trucks, cars, jet skis, boats and really, anything that had to do with working with his hands. He also was a member of the Spring Hill Christian Center, where he rarely missed a service; worked part time after school and was active in the Youth Group and Kids Camps. He will be remembered for his big heart, his big hugs and who loved his Lord and Savior and his family will all his heart.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Margie O. Wright, Linda Davee, and Bob and Lois Riggs.
He is survived by his mother Heather Hendon (Ryan), father Justin Ault, siblings Jericko, Jayden, Memphis, Roman, Ellie Mae; grandparents Rev. Mark Wright (Pam), Misty Burress (Mark), Charles & Vicky Ault; great grandparents Roger Davee (Wanda), Rev. William Wright, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Landon’s life on Tuesday, April 4th from 3:30pm-6:30pm at the Mooresville Christian Academy, 4271 IN-144, Mooresville, IN 46158 with services beginning at 6:30pm Tuesday at the Mooresville Christian Academy. A private burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hall, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to Mooresville Christian Academy 4271 IN-144, Mooresville, IN 46158 or to the Spring Hill Christian Center 12150 N Rooker Rd, Mooresville, IN 46158

Landon walked in my back door 9 30 past Friday morning, giving me that side grin and one of his famous hugs. ” why arent you in school and does your mama know where you are Lol ” he laughted and yes ma’am ed me. Ate a huge plate of pancakes and sauages, downed a glass of oj. Him and Tex have been friends for some a long time. Landon was a my favorite and he knew it, bragged about it Lol. He left his mark and we will always remember and miss him. Our hearts are with you Heather and Justin.

Landon and Lilly Carter date to the movies a few years ago. He was such a gentleman as he gave her flowers, opened the doors for her and he had the best cologne. Lilly and I will never forget how sweet and such a gentleman, the family was doing a fine job raising this young man.

What a wonderful young man of God. While I know Landon and our Ben are together praising God and sharing stories, we are left broken and confused. There is trouble in this world as Jesus told his disciples. But thankfully Jesus overcame the world do we can see our boys again. Lean into your faith and allow Him to comfort and guide you through the Valley. You’re not alone in this. We will continue to pray for you all.
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone. He was a wonderful young man so many memories flood my mind of him thinking of everyone..
We miss Landon so much he was such a great person and a very good man. We are very happy that he is in heaven with Jesus!
