  4. I worked at the school with Larry and he was such a joy to be around. He was so sweet, kind and helpful. I am so sorry to hear of this huge loss.

  5. Uncle Larry,
You have been in my life, my entire life…I remember you working with my best friends Dad at Olin Brass…and I remember the times you and Gary would banter back and forth when you guys would come visit us. Its crazy the way life’s twists and turns brought us together these last few years, just to tear us apart so abruptly. I am at peace knowing you and my Dad are together, up there in heaven, making fun of Gary…lol…the best part is, he can’t even defend himself…lol. I found 2 voicemail s on my phone from Nov and Dec last year…Im glad I saved them, so any time I miss you I can hear your voice telling me how much you and Aunt Debbie love me. YOU BOTH MEAN THE WORLD TO ME…Im going to miss you so much.

  6. Mr. Larry was truly a bright light throughout Stephen Decatur. His kindness, constant smile, and unwavering dedication to our students and staff left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Even in the small moments—like bravely answering the call for a wandering mouse—he showed his caring spirit. Heaven gained a wonderful soul. Wishing his family peace, comfort, and strength during this time of grief.

  7. I will never forget what a wonderful man Mr. Larry was to us teachers and to the kids at Stephen Decatur! He was kind and so willing to help anyone out! He did his job with pride and joy! He will be greatly missed by all who knew him!
