Layton Anthony Moore

Layton Anthony Moore was born on January 19, 2005. He passed away on August 27, 2025. Layton was 20 years old. Layton was the only child of both his father, LaRon Anthony Moore and his mother, Tamara Dawn Hogg. Layton was preceded in death by his father.

Layton was born and raised in Avon, IN. The friends he made in grade school are the friends he had today. Layton had a fierce loyalty to his friends and kept his circle tight. Layton remained true to those he loved and stood by their side through the good and bad.

Layton found his first love in second grade. The game of football is responsible for the young man Layton had become. Layton was a student of the game. He was extremely disciplined with a desire and dedication to always be better. Layton set goals and those goals were always exceeded. He did everything right!Layton was a college football player in his junior year. He had straight A’s & was working towards a JD-MBA. A dual masters in business and law would have paved the way for a successful career in commercial real estate in his favorite place on Earth. Layton could not wait to get to Cali.!

If you know Layton, you know his true love. Casper will continue to be loved and spoiled as he was for 12 years with Layton. He’s still getting comfortable at home with The Verebs. We all know he’ll take over soon.

We may never know how far Layton would go, but we all knew he would get there!

Layton’s Day 1’s, you know who you are. There was no him without you. He loved you with all he had. Tamara, “Mama” there are no words. You were his person.

Services for Layton were held privately.  He was laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery.
