Lani was the cousin of my deceased husband, Don Knipp. I remember meeting her for the first time when he took me to visit with his Uncle George and Aunt Tina. We hit it off immediately…and continued that appreciation of each other for over 50 years. In spite of her being limited in her mobility…due to polio as a child…she went to college and had a great career…never letting her handicap hold her back from accomplishing many things. She was a great spirit…full of energy…and she never focused on herself…but instead always showed her interest in others. She took care of her mother, Francis, for many years and suffered deeply when she passed. Lani will be missed by many…and I will just be one of them.
I’m very sorry for your loss. The Bible can offer much needed comfort at this difficult time. John 5:28, 29 says, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.” For more information please go to http://www.JW.org.
