  1. Lenny Rader was one of the sweetest men I have ever known. When I went to work at Preston Trucking in 1989 he was one of the first friends I made there & it has continued to this day. I see him often at the Daniels Market Liars Club, er I mean Current Events Roundtable, & he usually jumped up to shake my hand when I walked in. He was a great co-worker & friend I will never forget. The Good Lord welcomed a gem on 8-29-2014. Nuff said.

  2. Mary and children, I am so sorry to hear of Leonard’s passing. I know he will be deeply missed. My love and prayers are with you.

  3. Len was such a character, always witty and fun. I shared his love of the great outdoors and outdoor pursuits. When I was young, Rich used to take me fishing in the little pond behind his house on Sandalwood. I have so many memories of spending time listening to outrageous stories and drowning worms with he and Rich. He was a wonderful person who will be missed by so many. Much love to Mary Jane and the girls. Rhonda McCormick Moore

  4. Leonard must have been one heck of a man to have kept a wonderful woman such as you for so many years! Love you Mary and praying for you and the family. I’m sure Jesus welcomed him with open arms, and he will be waiting for you to spend eternity with him! Take comfort in God’s presents and know he is with you always! Love and Blessings, Mary Storie

  5. So sorry to hear of this. He was a great man and we miss having him and Mary as neighbors. Wish that we had gotten to see him one last time. Thoughts and prayers to all at this difficult time. Love, Tammy and Keith Candler and Family

  6. My husband Jack and I got to know Leonard by getting coffee in the mornings at Daniel’s Market. We were excited when our daughter purchased their first home next door to him and his wife. He was such a good person and knew they would be a good neighbors to them. Which they were. I’m sure he will be missed greatly but left lots of good memories. Prayers to everyone during this hard time of healing.

  7. Even though I don’t make it to church very often and saw Lenord even less, the man made an impression on me. He was always sweet to me, always had a smile and it was transparent that he loved you dearly & was devoted to you. You are in my thoughts & prayers and you can call me any time even if it is just to catch up or for any reason at all.. Love in Christ Sheryl Howard
