Linda Kay Carson

November 4, 1950 ~ February 19, 2021
Linda Kay Carson
70, of Mooresville, passed away on February 19, 2021 at home, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Linda was born on November 4, 1950 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Nancy (Davidson) and Russell Bush.
Linda was a proud graduate of Mooresville High School. She worked as head cashier and in management for I.G.A. and Kroger Supermarkets in Mooresville for many years, retiring in 2015. A tough, loving, kind, honest and generous woman, Linda loved her family, her children and especially her grandson Mason, who was her world. She enjoyed going to antique malls, collecting an extensive collection of hot air balloons. Although her fear of heights kept her from going up in a hot air balloon, that didn’t diminish her love for collecting them. She also enjoyed watching hummingbirds.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Rick Carson; children, Jennifer (Mike) Carr, Shawn Carson; brothers and sisters, Dave (Mitizi) Bush, Dawn (Keith) Brown, Sue (Tony) Alford, Rusty (Pam) Bush and her beloved grandson Mason.
