Lois Riggs

Lois Riggs, 79, Waverly, died October 21, 2014, in Community Hospital South. Mrs. Riggs was born January 21, 1935, in Indianapolis, to the late William and Annabell (Sawyer) Scott.

She attended Decatur Central High School and worked for a period of time early on for Herff Jones. She enjoyed playing cards, working crossword puzzles and enjoying the comforts of her home. Above all, Lois was devoted to her family, especially caring for her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobbie Leroy Riggs; son, Richard Riggs; brother, Richard Scott; sisters, Hilda, Patty, and Beverly.

Survivors include two daughters, Vicki Ault of Camby and Bobie Jo Riggs of Waverly; siblings, Marvin, Evon, and Sandra; grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Shawn, Jason, Larry, and Bolarr; 8 great grandchildren.

Friends and family will gather on Friday, October 24, 2014, 10 am to 12 pm in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with the service beginning at 12 pm.
