Marcia L. Noblitt

Marcia L. Noblitt, 80, Waynetown, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016, in the emergency room of Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health in Crawfordsville. Mrs. Noblitt was born in Morgan County on July 28, 1935, to the late Gilbert and Bessie (Anderson) Lewis.
She graduated from Mooresville High School in 1953 and later from IUPUI School of Nursing. She married Max Noblitt in 1951, while he was serving in the military. Mrs. Noblitt worked for the Allison Division of General Motors as the plant nurse, retiring in 1997. She was a member of Eternal Life Baptist Church in Mooresville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Survivors include her husband, Max Noblitt; daughters, Ronnah Bishop (Richard) of Austin, Texas, Melisa Ochs of Waynetown, and Nancy Cohen (Jim) of Turner Station, Kentucky; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Services will begin at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016, in the chapel at Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with visitation from 1 p.m. Burial will be in Mt.
