Mary Lucille Perkinson
July 30, 1924 ~ October 8, 2016
Lucille Mary Perkinson, 92, Plainfield, passed away peacefully at home October 8, 2016. Mrs. Perkinson was born July 30, 1924, in Pike County, to the late Gaskell Wayne and Flossie (Ferguson) Corn. She married the late William Lee Perkinson in 1942, and he preceded her in death in August of 1996.
A proud homemaker, Lucille also enjoyed quilting. She worked for a brief time as a clerk at H.P. Wasson in Indianapolis.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a half-brother, Charles Doughty and a sister, Dorothy Embrey.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann Henderson (John) of Mooresville; son, Donald Lee Perkinson of Clermont; sister, Mary Helen Lee of Florida; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
Calling hours will not be observed. A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, followed by entombment at West Ridge Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
