Matthew Clayburn Brumley, 53, Indianapolis, passed away April 11, 2016, in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. Matthew was born April 29, 1962, in Indianapolis, to the late Robert Brumley, Sr. and Mattie Lou (Clayburn) Brumley.
He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. Matthew, often referred to as the Gentle Giant, loved movies, especially Star Wars, Super Heroes, and the Avengers. His innocence often made him feel invincible. He was a wonderful and caring son and brother who will be missed by a loving family.
Survivors include his sister, Mattie L. Brumley; two brothers, Benjamin F. Brumley and Robert B. Brumley.
Calling hours will not be observed. A graveside service will begin at 3:30 pm, Friday, April 15, 2016, in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville. Friends and family who may need directions are welcome to meet at the funeral home prior to 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Oh no rest in peace mathew
Matthew lived with me after mother passed away he was with me for a long time we went camping a lot in the summer and he loved swimming and sitting around the camp fire eating smors.We went on serveral picnics he loved the summer time.one time we rented a pontoon boat and we let him drive he was the man the captain.there are so many more memories.
