My Uncle Maurice was very special to me. He gave me away at my wedding in the place of my deceased father, his best friend and brother Harry E Mason. I always loved our visits and time together. I will always hold him dearly in my heart. With Love & Respect, Darlene S Fyffe (Mason)
Sending my condolence to all the family.
When I met Grandpa Mason…as I always called him…50 years ago, he welcomed me into his family as his daughter-in-law marrying his son Steve. I haven’t been married to Steve for 25 years but was still his daughter-in-law as he was my father-in-law….forever! I’ll miss him!
Maurice was a first cousin to my father, Richard Mason. In my childhood I often heard my father speak of the fondness he had for Maurice, his brothers and sisters, and their parents Virgil and Bessie Mason. I was able to visit with Maurice, on two occasions in recent years. We looked at family pictures from long ago and I learned many interesting things about his life and the Mason family. I will always be thankful that I was able to visit with him, Dorothy, Mary and Paul. I knew that my father thought of Maurice as a special man. My father was right.
Mr. Mason will be missed. I will miss his big smile and warm handshake. Thank you Mason family for aharing your Dad. VA Home Care Nurse, Jenn Jordan
