I am so very sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. We will greatly miss him at the semi-annual Retiree of Citizens Bank Luncheon. We were blessed to have Mike join us for both our spring and fall lunches in 2016. Such a devoted dad and a fun light he was for so many to enjoy.
My sincere sympathy to all of his family and many friends,
Rita Timmons, Retired – SVP, Human Resources Director

Was so sorry to read about Mike. I enjoyed working with him at Citizens. We would talk and try to catch each other in a mistake. He always tried to keep us on our toes. So glad i was at the Retiree dinner and was able to see Mike not knowing it would be the last time. Bless this sweet man and his family Lord. Prayers for Maureen and her family.
It was always such a joy seeing Mike at the Bank. His dry sense of humor and smile was such a welcome.
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you, Maureen and of course Nancy and Molly and families. A new road ahead, but I am sure you will find comfort in all the great times to remember from here on out. He is in good hands!

Mike and Maureen were our neighbors for 25 years. I am so sorry for your loss, Maureen, Nancy and Molly. Mike was a great guy and he will truly be missed. ❤️
Mike was a loving and caring individual. He had a great sense of humor. The service to his church and to others was outstanding . We will all miss him. There is no doubt in any of our minds that Saint Peter will open the door wide for his eternal reward.
We cherish memories on our children in school together. I will remember his wit and great days on the golf courses over the summers with the Mooresville boys. Our deepest expression of heartfelt sympathy to Maureen and girls. I will miss those days. RIP Mike Shea.
Mike and Maureen were one of the first couples to greet us when we joined the St. Thomas More Parish. John and I are so saddened to read of his passing. Mike was simply a great guy and we will miss him. Our condolences go out to Maureen, his girls and their families.

The Shea family is such a wonderful, loving family, I’m so sorry Mike had to go home as I know you all wanted many more years together. You are all blessed to have such beautiful memories and your faith because you know you will see each other again. Thinking of you all and asking God to let you feel love, strength and peace at this difficult time.
While I never got a chance to get to know Mike well, I always enjoyed what little time I had with him. Mike had a great sense of humor along with a kind gentle soul. May you rest in peace.
I think the thing we will always remember about Mike was his sense of humor. I’m pretty sure he shared some of it with Molly too! He could certainly make you laugh!
Praying for you, Susie, Nancy, and Molly in these days ahead.

Several years ago, when the Colts were actually close to being in Super Bowl range, Mike was doing the petitions at Sunday Mass. Mike added a petition to the list–“Lord Help Our Colts!” And of course, they went on to win the Super Bowl that year. Way to go Mike! Keep up the good work on your end. The Colts need your intercessions more than ever. We will all miss your good humor and your tireless work for STM. From Gene and Mary Bednarek
