Michael H. Langley

Michael H. Langley, 57, of Mooresville, passed away at Millers Merry Manor on April 29, 2024. He was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on August 20, 1966, and welcomed home by Howard and Grace (McCarty) Langley. Mike graduated from Monrovia High School in 1984 and attended Lincoln Tech. He spent 30 years as a mechanic before recently becoming the Fleet Supervisor for Heartland Foods Product Group. 

Mike married Elainia Pritchett in November of 1989, and together they had one son, Andrew. 

In his younger years, Mike enjoyed playing brass instruments and riding horses. He loved anything with a motor from an early age. Mike was an avid outdoorsman, having a passion for the family farm, riding side-by-sides, and deer hunting with his son. 

Mike attended Mooresville First United Methodist Church for many years. He was a hard-working man and a good friend to all. Mike will be remembered for his generous, loving, and kind nature. 

Mike is preceded in death by his sister, Ericka Langley. 

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Elainia Langley; son, Andrew Langley; parents, Howard Langley and Grace Langley; sister, Angelique (Joe) Faulise; nieces, Ariel and Jackie; as well as several cousins and other extended family members and friends. 

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Mike’s life on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville.

  6. So many great memories over the past 37 years! Mike had that ever present grinning smile where he looked like he was up to something or would be soon. He sure loved his family and would do anything for us. I looked up to him in many ways. I’m thankful he’s restored with Our Savior, but I miss him terribly.

    I’ve always remembered him fondly from our high school days. We were in band together. Mike always had a smile and kind word. It meant a lot to me.
    My prayers said for comfort for the family.
