Michael Lee Colyer
62, of Versailles, passed away on January 28, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Michael was born on July 12, 1958 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Elmer Colyer and Shirley Colyer, who survives.

Michael was a simple man, who worked hard and loved his family even harder. He was a doting Grandpa to his grandson Jaspen and enjoyed a good political debate on Facebook. He was truck driver for over 30 years, most recently with Estes Express.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a sister Cathy.

He is survived by his daughter Deanna Colyer (Michael Betz); son Michael John Colyer; mother Shirley Colyer; brothers and sisters, John, Jimmy, Sheila, Danny, Jeff, Timmy, JoJo, Bobby, David and his beloved grandson Jaspen Betz.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 3rd from 2-4pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with services beginning at 4pm Wednesday in the funeral home.

All guests attending visitation and/or services will be required to wear a mask at all times in an effort to promote a safe environment. You are also invited to watch the services via live stream on the Carlisle Branson Facebook page.
