I’m so sorry to hear of Mikaya’s passing. In elementary, our daughters were friends. I have so many great memories of her spending time with our family. She was such a joy! She will be missed.
I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. I have many memories when you all were our neighbor in Clayton, Makayla was sweetest most helpful little girl always asking to do my dishes and anything else. She will be missed!
So so sorry for your loss Amy. Your little girl is beautiful just like you. I pray for you and the family. Much love Aunt Jama
My heart and prayers are with you all.
I love you.
Deepest sympathy to her family & friends. My heart broke when I was told about it. In elementary school she spent several nights and many many hours at my house with my daughter Erika. They played almost daily and I am so thankful that we had the opportunity to know her. She was such a sweet and pleasant young lady to have around. May she rest in eternal peace.
You’ll truly be missed by so many. I love you forever 🫶🏻

I was a friend of Mikaya. We were both born and raised in Bloomington Indiana before moving to Indianapolis. We graduated together from Avon High School on May 27th, 2022. We first met in 7th grade. We were in choir together. I was jealous of her at first because every year there was at least one solo at the choir concert. Both of us tried out for it during class, along with some other girls. I came in second place as she was chosen for every solo. Although I was jealous, I was happy for her, especially because she was black just like me. Her singing voice was angelic and she was very smart.
Kaya was truly a person you could never forget. her soul and spirit lit up any room. not only was she so bright she was talented. I was so blessed to call you my friend. love you beautiful girl. may god take care of you in the kingdom🤍🕊️. fly high baby girl.
Prayers for the family
My beautiful Kaya,
The day you left, the world got a little dimmer. You always had such a warming smile with a heart of gold. You spread love to those around you and never failed to. My heart breaks a little more each time I have to accept that you aren’t here physically with us anymore, but i know spiritually you are.
Kaya was at every single birthday I had growing up. Not only that, but we also spent long hours of show choir together, being the first ever attraction group to make it to finalists!
These are some of the memories I will forever remember. Kaya and I had a bond that was truly special.
Getting to know you was a privilege, and i will forever cherish our time we had together. I love you so much Kaya Lynn Berry. Losing you, lost a part of me. Rest easy angel.❤️🩹
Serenity and I will never forget you! The laughs we had , and great times spent! May your legacy of love and friendship never be forgotten. We will never forget you!
