Nancy J. Perdue

Nancy J. Perdue, 77, Mooresville, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away March 17, 2016, in Miller's Merry Manor, Mooresville. Mrs. Perdue was born January 7, 1939, in Edinburgh to the late Thomas William and Opal Evelyn (Graham) Chandler.

Nancy was employed for more than 20 years at the Allison Division of General Motors. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Perdue; children, Kevin D. Jeffries and Carla Jeffries Massengill; siblings, Gary and Phyllis; grandchildren, Wesley and Robert Massengill.

Survivors include two brothers, Ronnie and Joe Chandler, both of Franklin; grandchildren, John Carter, Douglas Jeffries and Katie Jeffries; great grandchildren, Niah, Lilly, Chloe, Elijiah and Austin; daughter-in-law, Maria Roudebush.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 24 in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. Family and friends will gather for visitation on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.
