Patricia Ruth Minks

January 26, 1943 ~ January 12, 2026

Born in: Beattyville, Kentucky
Resided in: Mooresville, Indiana

Patricia Ruth Minks, 82, of Mooresville, passed peacefully at The Springs of Mooresville, surrounded by family, on Monday, January 12, 2026. She was born on January 26, 1943, in Beattyville, Kentucky, to the late Victor Kincaid and Georgia (Day) Kincaid.

Patricia graduated from Lee County High School with the Class of 1960 and later moved to Indianapolis, where she met the love of her life, Michael Allan Minks. They were married on April 3, 1965, and joyfully celebrated 60 years of marriage this past year.

Throughout her life, Patricia worked for Grain Dealers Insurance, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Ward’s Apparel. While she took pride in her work, her greatest joy and calling was being a devoted wife, mother, and servant to others. She lovingly cared for her family and friends and was always ready to help anyone in need. Patricia also enjoyed sewing, quilting, canning, and baking-many of which were expressions of her love for those around her.

A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Patricia worshiped at and was a faithful member of Town Center Church.

She will be deeply missed by many, including her loving husband, Michael Minks of Mooresville; son, Pastor Timothy (Sheryl) Minks of Terre Haute; daughter, Tammy (Jim) Ellis of Indianapolis; sisters, Malva Richards of Indianapolis and Virginia (Dwight) Cotton of Indianapolis; granddaughter, Macie Minks; and several cherished nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Georgia Kincaid; brothers, William Rudell, Thomas, and Donald Kincaid; and sisters, Vivian Shires, Peggy Gosser, Evelyn Davis, and Sue Noe.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Town Center Church, 218 E. Main Street, Mooresville. Patricia’s Life Celebration® Service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites memorial gifts to be made in Patricia’s memory to Town Center Church’s Grateful Gathering meal ministry. Donations may be given online at https://towncenter.church/.
